was born on January 17, 1902, in Kutaisi. In 1925, he finished his studies in acting at the studio of the People’s Commissariat of Education. From 1924 onward, he worked in the film industry. In 1965, he was awarded the title of Honorary Art Worker and in 1980 he received the honorary title of People’s Artist of Georgian SSR. Levan Khotivari died on December 14, 1980.
