The Second World War. Ketevan, the village doctor sends her two sons to the front. The younger son Mamuka stays by his mother and helps her in the house. Ketevan tries not to show her fatigue and fear for her sons. She diligently takes care of her patients and waits for her sons. In the end she has to send Mamuka to the front.
