Nodar Managadze was born on March 19, 1043 in Tbilisi. In 1965, he graduated from Shota Rustaveli Theatrical Institute (now Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University) where he studied filmmaking. He was granted a title of Honorary Art Worker in 1980. Nodar Managadze died on November 27, 2006.
