Beginning of the 20th century. A widowed general falls in love with Tebrole, a cemetery caretaker, marries her and renames the woman as Tea. The woman finds it difficult to be afloat in the high society, all the more so without being in love. Soon she gets acquainted with Gio, a worker and falls for him. The general learns about their love affair. Tea and Gio flee the city and settle in Paris. Left without any means to live, they soon stop seeing each other. The time passes. A group of the Georgian emigrants decides to fly to Georgia on a dirigible. Tea is among them.
