Nino, a famous surgeon who arrives in her native village, is asked to perform a complicated operation on a patient. She agrees and finds out that the patient is her ex-husband Akia. Her past life comes rushing into her brain when she sees him for she remembers that years ago, when they were young she has been raped by Akia and later she was forced to marry him. After a while, Akia who fought against the Bolsheviks finds refugee in Turkey. When his father realizes that they have lost the battle with the Bolsheviks, he burns down his house. Nino and Akia’s little son dies in fire. Nino lefts the native village to start a new life…
