Born in 1951. In 1974 he was graduated from the department of English language of Tbilisi Institute of Foreign Languages and from the department of filmmaking of Tbilisi Drama Institute in 1988. He has worked as a filmmaker at the popular science and documentary films studio of "Mematiane".
