was born on April 16, 1946 in Tbilisi. In 1971, he graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University where he studied journalism. In 1976, he finished his film studies at Shota Rustaveli Theatrical Institute (now Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University). He was awarded the title of Honorary Artist of the Dagestan Autonomous Republic in 1972. Ramaz Giorgobiani died on December 25, 1995 in Tbilisi
