A film is based on Prosper Merimee’s story, "Matteo Falcone". Georgia, 1921. The main protagonist, peasant Juna distances himself from revolutionary activities, but God has different plans. In his absence, Juna’s adolescent son shelters the escaped revolutionary. The pursuer promises the boy a gun in exchange for the man. The child cannot resist the temptation. After returning home Juna does not forgive the child undignified behavior – he kills him with his own hands.
