After his graduation Juna Mukhraneli is assigned to work in a quarry. Upon his arrival Juna is offered to work as a pumper instead of getting the position of a geologist. Talented Juna gets disappointed at this offer. Other workers also see his frustration. On one occasion Juna is requested to mend the broken equipment. He carries out his job well and assures the management in his professionalism. The interaction with ordinary workers makes Juna happy. Soon, the appropriate vacancy pops up and Juna gets the position of the geologist in the management.
