After graduating the elementary school the three friends go to Chiatura for work and their roads split. Dato and Kharaman start working at the mine, whereas Bondo becomes complicit in the criminal activity of the chief of the timber storehouse. Exasperated by the fair reprimands of his friends, Bondo ships a poor quality fortification to their mine. The catastrophe is inevitable. In the last minute Bondo gets on to himself and rushes to the mine to warn his friends of the danger. But it is too late. The mine crumbles and falls. Bondo dies in the accident.
