Elguja and Mzia, former classmates, decide to stay in their native village after they finish school but pushed by her mother, Mzia has to move to the city and try to enroll in the institute. Once there she meets Lado, a young engineer. The latter literally mesmerizes Mzia and her mother with his generous promises to help them in settling down but Mzia can sense his insincerity the moment they are left alone. Despite her mother’s protests she decides to get back to the village.
