Kote Kalandadze is a young Georgian director/producer, scriptwriter, and musician. Born on November 27, 1979, he gained a reputable name in the Georgian music scene as the frontman of local alternative bands Небо СССР (Sky of USSR)  and Lady Heroine. The limited opportunities for artists urged him to establish his own studio (“Made in Ghetto Films”), followed by his 1st no-budget Film “Teen Spirit” (2012), - portraying the reality of Georgian subcultural movements. In 2017 his project “The Drummer” won 1st place at the Georgian National Film Center‟s (GNFC) debut film production competition.
