Kutaisi at the beginning of the 21st century: an abandoned city. The citizens left in chaos and despair, with a little hope and their typical sense of humor though. Shakespeare’s slightly altered characters: the powerful general Othello – a photographer and amateur cameraman Otia; the daughter of the Venecian nobleman, Desdemona – a hairdresser Dezi; officer Iago - the owner of a funeral agency "Mother’s Tears" - Iase. The Othello drama repeats, but the ending is diff erent.
