The main character of the film ''Artisan or Artist'' is a 37-year-old guitarist Giorgi Pkhaladze, who also makes various musical instruments. He has holding down the two jobs simultaneously for a long time. Previously, he was more of a musician than a craftsman. But now he is more concentraited on making musical instruments, which is a matter of deep concern to his wife, who is a violinist and who is doing her best to help his husband - Giorgi - to survive as a guitarist. Giorgi works hard but he does not earn much. The only way to solve his financial problems and, most importantly, have his fingers operated is to sell his father's property.
