Niko owns a small veterinary shop in the middle of a busy train and bus station in Tbilisi. People working at the station often visit the shop to watch soap operas on TV and to listen to a singer – Nodari, who sings at the station. Niko writes poems in his shop and the customers who enter his shop leave the shop without buying anything there as the usual thing they ask for is poison for killing animals and Niko is against any kind of killing. Every day, there are fewer and fewer customers entering Niko’s shop. Niko can no longer pay the rent for the shop and is obliged to close the shop and leave the place.
