A young man gets prepared to meet his father whom he had not seen before. As he walks on the busy street adorned with common Soviet style holiday features, the young man feels that a major change is taking place in his mindset. He becomes aware that the pomp of the holiday, the glamour of people is based on nothing but make-believe and that the whole country is inundated by self-conceit.
