Arsena Odzelashvili, a peasant, kidnaps Prince Baratashvili’s maid. The Prince lodges a complaint to the Governor’s office. Arsena kills the Cossacks, who come to capture him and finds shelter in the forest. A bounty is put on Arsna’s head, but the peasants protect their defender. However, Arsena’s godfather turns out to be a traitor and gives him up to the authorities. However, Arsena escapes from jail and continues to punish the wicked merchants and landowners. On the Red Friday Giorgi Kuchatneli puts up the fight with Arsena in the diner and treacherously kills him when Arsena’s sword breaks.
