The film is about a Kvarelian vine-grower who decides to revive two unique species of grapes: kisi and khikhvi. The vine-grower makes wine in the traditional Georgian way. Koba Kvachrelishvili sees both the vines and the wine as living creatures. The leitmotif of the film is to show how to care for the vines over the course of the whole year.
