Moslem population of Meskheti, indigenous Georgians were deported from Georgia in 1944 with a label of Turks pinned on them. The deported Meskhs were living in three republics of Central Asia under supervision of commandants. In 1956 restrictions were lifted and they were allowed to settle anywhere except their homeland. Minor part of the Meskhs managed to return to Georgia only in 1990-ies. The film is dedicated right to them and their mode of life.
