In need of more rehearsal time, a group of the chamber music performers arrive in a small village. They pass time by walking around and rehearsing a lot. Meanwhile, the family that rented them the room is engaged in their everyday tasks of taking care of cattle, building new house and fighting with the neighbors. They, the musicians and the locals, seem to be from two different worlds and indeed when the vacation time ends they depart without further advancement in their relationship.
