Gogita takes a sick street dog home and heals it. He and his grandfather Spiridon grow fond of the animal. One day someone finds a dead dog in the village, apparently a victim of a mad dog attack. Fearing that someone will get hurt, the villagers decide to kill all wandering dogs in the area. Naturally, all villagers and especially Badria, their close neighbor, want Gogita’s dog to be killed too but fail. When Gogita’s grandfather dies it returns, lies at the side of the coffin and doesn’t allow Badria to come closer.
