Old Luka wants to replenish his garden and together with his grandson sets forth to obtain the rare saplings of the pear tree called Khechechuri. The cranky old man surprises everyone, for Luka knows that he is not destined to see how the pear tree will bear fruit. The old man gets the saplings. On his way home he has to sacrifice the plants to rescue a skidded truck.
