Detective Mikeladze finds out that the victim of a murder is the sailor from Tallin named Koretski. Koretski bought a car in Leningrad and together with newly acquainted Abuladze and Saburov set forth to Georgia. Saburov claims that he never had been in Leningrad. It gets clear that somebody misused his passport. The detective identifies the murderer and gets him arrested
