The Bishop decides to punish the priest Tadeoz for running late for the preaching because of his passion for fishing and hunting. On one occasion when the Bishop was on his way to wish Godspeed to a newly built church, he saw a rabbit hastily crossing his road. Lit up by passion the Bishop dismounts his donkey and goes after the rabbit. Humbled by his own behavior the Bishop absolves the priest from punishment.
