Sandro, an avid bureaucrat, rarely pays attention to ordinary citizens but likes to have fun with his friend’s wife. During the outing in her company Sandro overruns a calf but blinded with fear thinks that he killed a pedestrian. Sandro hides in the mountains to evade the law. However, unable to withstand the sense of guilt gives up to the police. As soon as he learns that he had killed a calf, Sandro once again turns into an impervious bureaucrat.
