1918. One of the southern cities is occupied by the White Army. Illegal committee of the Bolshevik party is organizing the armed uprising. They expect the resque army from the front but the Whites blow up the railway. Under the leadership of bolshevik Zabelin, the workers start to rebuild it. Menshevik Galust secretly joins the workers and tries to disrupt the work but he is exposed. The reailway has been restored. With the help of Red Army the insurgents win.
