After demobilization from the red army, former red devils: Misha, Duniasha and Tom Jackson decide to move to Baku with their new friend Oksana. They start to work at the laboratory in one of the oil refinery companies. One day, Duniasha and Oksana came across the women from Huseinov’s harem. The friends urge the harem women to leave Huseinov and start earning living by decent work. Huseinov gets furious and kidnaps Diniasha and Oskana to the remote island Ilan-Dili to starve them to death. Misha and Tom Jackson save their friends with the help of soviet sailors. Tom Jackson and Duniasha fall in love with each other. Misha and Oskana too fall in love with each other. Young couples look towards the future with hope.
