The one eyed Gola is not permitted to join the army. However, Gola decides to prove that having just one eye is enough for the battle. Possessed by the idea to do something extraordinary, Gola gets into a funny misunderstanding. He encounters the German soldiers in the forest, captures them and brings the captives to the authorities. It turns out that the captives were nothing but Telavian actors who came to the forest from the rehearsal to collect the brushwood.
