Tbilisi in the 1990s. Several families living in the old part of town experience the country’s momentous events in different ways. Old Archil is ill, his son went off to war and now he is dead. In the house across the street, another tragedy is taking place: 10-year-old Datuna, a talented musician, has lost joy and interest in life after witnessing a murder in the street.
