David Guramishvili, a famous Georgian poet, is kidnapped by the Leki tribes. He get out after years in captivity and joins the Georgian King Vakhtang’s entourage in Russia. The king’s aim is to ask for a military patronage to a Russian Queen. David never manages to return to his homeland. After years of fighting in the ranks of the Russian army he settles down in Ukraine and ends his life there.
